Warehouse automation offers can describe very different boundaries: transporting totes, bringing shelves to a picker, moving pallets or supplying a complete storage system. Start with order profiles and inventory units. A robot count without a picking process and replenishment plan cannot define a comparable warehouse proposal. This is an editorial procurement worksheet, not a supplier offer or a tested performance claim. Earlier unsupported figures have been removed.

Give each bidder the same anonymised order sample, item sizes, cut-off windows and replenishment pattern. Separate averages from peak periods. Require the model to show where people still pick, replenish or resolve exceptions.
Ask for a layout that includes aisles, charging, emergency access and expansion areas. Compare usable inventory locations after those deductions, not the maximum storage density of an isolated demonstration.
List interfaces with the WMS and conveyor controls, including exception codes and recovery after a network interruption. Price test environments, upgrades and support responsibilities; identify which party owns a failed handoff.
