Why We Exist
China makes more industrial robots than anyone else on the planet, and is closing the gap on humanoids, quadrupeds, and AMRs. But for the rest of the world, getting reliable information — let alone a factory-direct quote — is harder than it should be.
Most catalogs are in Chinese. Reviews live on Bilibili and WeChat. B2B platforms list 10,000 SKUs without curation. Price guides quote MSRP, not real factory pricing. And for the engineers, hobbyists, and journalists tracking the global robot race from the outside, there's a blind spot the size of a continent: what's actually happening on the China side?
GrabaRobot exists to close that gap. We're operated by Guangzhou Jifan Information Technology Co., Ltd. (广州极帆信息科技有限公司), a Chinese company focused on one mission: helping Chinese robotics reach the world. We do that two ways:
- Editorial-grade content in English — industry news, product reviews, price guides, manufacturer profiles — so anyone outside China can keep up with what's launching, deploying, and shipping.
- Factory-direct sourcing — for international buyers ready to procure, we pass your requirement straight to the manufacturer and take no cut of the order. We are the introduction, not a reseller: you deal with the factory on price and terms.
Editorial Standards
This is our trust contract. If we fail any of these, tell us.
Source transparency
Price guides cite where a figure came from when a source record is available. Legacy category-level ranges without item-level source URLs and read dates are explicitly labelled as unverified planning estimates, not as verified quotes. News stories cite their source, which is the original announcement (press release, manufacturer announcement, government filing or primary media) where we have it, and the aggregator we picked the story up from where we do not. Anything we could not trace to a primary source says so rather than implying one.
Manufacturer verification
76 of the 300 makers we list meet all four published listing-verification criteria in our Verified Manufacturer Program — a high-confidence official-source identity match, at least one product matched to a model with published specifications, category and location cross-checks, and a recorded source URL and check date. That is a listing check, not a factory audit: we have not visited production sites, and certification marks are the manufacturer's own claim. The remaining 224 are listed without the verified marker. We do not accept payment for listing inclusion (only for premium placement, clearly labeled).
AI disclosure
We use AI to draft first versions of price guides and category overviews. Every published article is reviewed and edited by a human before publishing. Articles substantially generated by AI carry a disclosure footer.
Update cadence
Price guides: refreshed every 90 days or sooner when major brand updates. News: daily monitoring; published when sourced and verified. Manufacturer pages: re-verified annually.

Found an error? Email us at [email protected] or open a ticket via /contact/. We post corrections inline within 48 hours.

Our team started GrabaRobot because we've been obsessed with how fast Chinese robotics is moving — and how invisible that progress is from outside China. We track new product launches the same week they hit Chinese press releases. We DM with manufacturers in WeChat group chats. We follow factory tours on Bilibili. When Unitree drops a new payload spec, when Agibot signs a deal, when Figure 03 lands at a customer, we already know — and now we're making sure the English-speaking world finds out too.

- We don't accept payment to remove or soften negative coverage.
- We don't present every listed manufacturer as verified. Makers without a high-confidence source check remain in the directory without the marker and are disclosed as unverified.
