The EFORT ECR5-1400 is a compact 5kg payload 6-axis robot arm designed for precision assembly, electronics manufacturing, and small-parts handling. EFORT (Anhui EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co.) acquired KUKA's welding business in 2017 and has since developed its own product line combining German engineering know-how with Chinese manufacturing cost advantages. The ECR5 offers ±0.03mm repeatability and 2.5 m/s TCP speed at $12,000–$18,000 — less than half the cost of comparable FANUC LR Mate or Yaskawa GP5 models. The ER-C40 controller supports drag-to-teach programming for quick setup. EFORT has deployed over 10,000 robots in Chinese automotive and electronics factories, with growing exports to Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.
