Palletizing quotations should begin with cases and stack patterns. A palletizer that handles a regular sealed carton may need a different gripper and infeed arrangement for bags, trays or open boxes. Describe every intended SKU and changeover, including mixed layers and the final pallet height. This is an editorial procurement worksheet, not a supplier offer or a tested performance claim. Send actual filled packages, including a weak or porous example. Ask the supplier to show pickup, acceleration, placement and release without damage. Payload capacity alone does not resolve whether the gripping method works.
Separate the arm from the conveyor, pallet dispenser, guarding, wrapper interface and completed-pallet removal. Define who supplies each piece and who validates the combined sequence.
Run complete pallets through the intended changeovers. Log mispicks, damaged packaging, operator interventions and unstable stacks. Agree how rejected cases and exhausted consumables will be handled.
