Describe nearby structures, access, weather exposure and communication conditions. Have the responsible operator identify applicable permissions and safe operating restrictions; vendor advertising does not resolve site authorisation.
Ask who services the payload, maintains calibration and supplies compatible software after updates. Include batteries and repair turnaround for the entire kit rather than treating the sensor as a permanent accessory.
