temi is the personal-assistant robot that made "screen on wheels" a category: a self-driving, video-first telepresence platform now sold into reception desks, clinics, hotels and classrooms. Robotemi does not publish prices on its own site, so every number a US buyer sees comes from a reseller — and those resellers do not agree with each other, or in one case with themselves.
We checked the US channel on August 1, 2026. Here is what a temi actually costs.

The low and high ends of that table are the same robot family on the same day: $3,495 against $5,999.99, a 72% spread. temibots.com prices two variants — "TEMI 3 – WiFi" and "TEMI 3 – 5G" — behind a working add-to-cart button, so the top of the range is a real transactable price, not a placeholder.
One seller, three prices for one robot
RobotLAB's temi page is worth looking at closely, because the disagreement is internal. The page body states plainly that "RobotLAB sells Temi outright at $3,999 or through its Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) program starting at $83/month." The page's own meta description — the text Google displays in search results — says "From $4,499." A separate RobotLAB manufacturers page lists the base V3 at $3,495.
We have seen this pattern before at the same reseller: our Bear Robotics Servi price guide found two different price sets for the same machine on the same day. The practical lesson for buyers is the same — the number in a search snippet is not a quote, and neither is the number on the landing page.
Subscription and RaaS
Buying the hardware is not the end of the bill.
- RaaS monthly (RobotLAB manufacturers page): Temi V3 $199/mo, Hospitality $249/mo, Healthcare $269/mo. The store page separately quotes RaaS "starting at $83/month."
- Software subscription: temibots.com states explicitly that "the purchase price does not include TEMI CENTER PRO subscription," which is "purchased separately on the robot once you receive your robot." It does not publish the price.
Dealer listings elsewhere put the Temi Pro subscription at $1,850 per year, and a temi GO PRO delivery variant at $21,000. We could not open either original page — the seller's site returned rate-limit errors on repeated attempts — so we flag both as unverified and do not use them in the analysis below. If the $1,850 figure is right, one year of subscription is 53% of the cheapest listed hardware price, which is the single most important thing to confirm in writing before you sign.
Tariffs are explicitly not included
RobotLAB's temi FAQ carries a line most buyers will skim past: "Note that prices do not include tariffs." That is the pass-through mechanism stated out loud. A new Section 301 forced-labour tariff of 12.5% on Chinese-origin goods took effect on July 24, 2026, so on a $3,999 machine that clause is potentially a four-figure variable sitting outside the quoted price. Price history: $1,500 to $3,495 in eight years
temi launched to consumers in October 2018 at $1,500, per New Atlas' coverage at the time. The cheapest current US listing is $3,495 — the same product concept repositioned from a consumer gadget to a B2B service platform, with hardware, support and software packaged for buyers who need a fleet rather than a novelty. Anyone anchoring on the old consumer price will be surprised by a quote.
Buying advice
- Get all three numbers in one document: hardware, RaaS monthly, and the Temi Center Pro subscription with its term. Any one of them alone understates the cost.
- Quote at least two resellers. A 72% spread on the same robot is not a negotiating rumour — it is the observed range today.
- Treat the search-result price as marketing. Verify against the seller's cart or a written quote.
- Pin the tariff. If the contract says prices exclude duties, get the rate and the recalculation trigger in writing before the ship date.
