FJ Dynamics, the Shenzhen-founded robotics company best known for agricultural automation, sells a surprisingly wide commercial turf line: small mowers, rough mowers, a cylinder mower for greens, and a separate line-marking robot for sports fields. The catch for a US buyer is that the cleanest price list we could verify today is not in US dollars at all. It is an Australian dealer list, in Australian dollars, and reading it as USD would understate every price by the exchange-rate gap. This guide therefore gives you the verified AUD list, labels it as AUD throughout, and explains what to do about a US quote.
Verified dealer prices, checked October 29, 2026 (AUD)
All prices below are from EMAM, an Australian dealer, with stock status as shown on its FJ Dynamics collection page on October 29, 2026. Do not convert them silently to USD; get a US quotation for the same model before budgeting.
| Model | EMAM price (AUD) | Status on October 29, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| FJD FR4000 robotic lawn mower | $4,799 | In stock |
| FJD PaintMaster Mini, robotic line marker | $15,399 | In stock |
| FJ Dynamics FRX commercial robotic lawn mower | $21,499 | In stock |
| FJD PaintMaster Pro, robotic line marker | $29,490 | In stock |
| FJD GM22S battery-powered greens mower | $31,990 | In stock |
| FJD RM21 autonomous grass mower | $39,900 | Sold out |
| FJD Titan robotic mower | $41,799 | Re-stocking soon |
| FJD RM21 PRO, Rough Ranger robotic mower | $42,899 | Re-stocking soon |
| FJD RCM01 robotic cylinder mower | $54,999 | In stock |
| FJD RM21 + Line Marker Kit | $54,999 | In stock |
Two patterns are worth noting before you compare models. First, the line-marker kit is not a small accessory: the RM21 plus line-marker kit costs $15,099 AUD more than the RM21 alone, which is roughly the price of a PaintMaster Mini on its own. Second, the RCM01 cylinder mower and the RM21 kit land on the same $54,999 AUD figure, but they are different machines for different jobs: a greens cylinder mower versus a rough mower with a marking kit. Same price, no overlap in use.
The FRX, in manufacturer specifications
The FRX is the commercial mower most buyers will start with. FJ Dynamics' own specifications list a 520 mm cutting width, a 10 to 100 mm cutting height, an 83.7 kg complete unit, RTK plus vision positioning with virtual boundaries (no perimeter wire), and an IPX5 rating. Coverage is stated as 8,000 square metres per charge, 32,000 square metres (7.9 acres) in 24 hours in fast battery-swapping mode, and 20,000 square metres (4.9 acres) in 24 hours in automatic charging mode. Battery life is listed at 320 minutes, with fast charging at 150 minutes for a 1 kWh battery.
Those coverage figures are theoretical values under standard test conditions, in the manufacturer's own words, and they will vary with terrain and grass conditions. Use them to rank models, not to promise a grounds crew a fixed daily acreage.
Buying by job, not by model name
- Small commercial lawns and detail areas: the FR4000, at $4,799 AUD, is the entry point. It is a different class from the FRX, not a smaller version of the same machine.
- Sports fields, golf surrounds and large landscapes: the FRX, at $21,499 AUD and in stock on the dealer page, is the commercial workhorse, with the Titan and RM21 above it for rougher ground. Both of those were not in stock on the check date, so lead time, not list price, is the binding constraint there.
- Greens: the GM22S ($31,990 AUD) and the RCM01 cylinder mower ($54,999 AUD) are greens machines. Do not price them against the FRX; the cutting system and the surface are different.
- Field marking, a category this site had not covered before: the PaintMaster Mini ($15,399 AUD) and Pro ($29,490 AUD) automate athletic field layout and painting, a repetitive job where accuracy, not mowing speed, is the value. If your crew spends its mornings marking fields, this is the line to price first, before another mower.
What the machine price does not include
Accessories and kits are priced separately on the same dealer page, and they are not trivial: a GNSS base station for the RM21 and PaintMaster Pro is listed at $2,750 AUD, a line-marker kit at $16,499 AUD, a grass collector kit at $18,259 AUD, and a ball picker kit at $6,599 AUD. A mower without its RTK base station is not a working RTK system, so budget the system, not just the machine.
For US buyers, the practical next step is a dated USD quotation for the exact model and kit, including freight, the base station, and support terms. An AUD dealer list tells you the relative order of the range; it does not tell you what you will pay in the US.
