beRobox has put a number on the cheapest way into robotic palletizing, and it is deliberately simple: one complete unit, one price, no integration project. The PALTZ.GO, shown at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago (October 18-21, booth LU-8718), is listed by the manufacturer at $79,000 USD. That is the headline, and it is worth unpacking, because palletizing quotes usually arrive as a bundle of robot, cell, gripper, conveyor and programming time that is hard to compare.
What the PALTZ.GO is
The unit is built around a Universal Robots UR20 collaborative robot, mounted on a palletizing base with a 13-inch touchscreen HMI, a universal infeed conveyor and beRobox's STACKiT palletizing software. A standard vacuum gripper and a complete risk assessment for collaborative operation are included. beRobox describes it as a true plug-and-play unit: move it into position with a forklift, connect it to a standard 120V outlet, and follow the step-by-step tutorials. Installation is not sold as a separate service, and beRobox says deployment takes less than one hour.
The published operating limits are narrow, and that narrowness is the point:
- Payload: up to 25 kg (55 lb)
- Rate: up to 7 cycles per minute
- Stack height: up to 80 inches
- Infeed conveyor height: 24 to 36 inches, adjustable for straight, 90-degree left or 90-degree right infeed
- Power: standard 120V, single outlet
Two options are listed, without published prices: Variable Multipick, which raises throughput to up to 14 boxes per minute, and Manual Slipsheet Management, for operations that place slipsheets between layers. If either is essential to your line, get it priced in the quote rather than assuming it is inside the $79,000.

For context, Automation World, reporting from PACK EXPO, quoted beRobox's CEO putting the average palletizer at $150,000. That figure is a trade-press comparison point, not a list price, but it explains the positioning: the GO is priced at roughly half the average complete palletizer, by giving up dual-pallet handling, heavier payloads and custom integration.
When the GO fits, and when it does not
The GO fits best when the job is genuinely standard: first-time palletizing automation, a fixed budget, no in-house robot programming team, cases at or below 25 kg, and a rate at or below 7 cycles per minute. The forklift-moveable base is a real advantage for a first cell, because the unit can be relocated and levelled without rebuilding a cell.
Step up to a larger cell, such as the i35 class, when any of these apply: payloads above 25 kg, a second pallet zone so one pallet can be swapped while the other fills, sustained rates above 7 cycles per minute without the Multipick option, or a gripper and infeed that are not standard vacuum and straight conveyor work. Paying for a larger cell you do not need is wasteful; buying the GO for a job above its rate or payload ceiling is worse, because the shortfall shows up as a bottleneck on the line, not as a discount.
A final budgeting note: the $79,000 is the unit price. It does not, on the manufacturer's own page, include site-specific integration, a non-standard gripper, or the priced options above. Treat freight, spares and any integrator time as separate lines in your quote, and confirm the current list price before budgeting, since new-product pricing at launch is the most likely to move.
