AgileX Robotics makes the ROS-native mobile bases that a large share of university robotics labs, AMR startups and integrators build on — SCOUT, BUNKER, TRACER, RANGER, HUNTER and the LIMO teaching rover. Unlike most industrial robot brands, its platforms are sold through ordinary web stores, so real prices exist. The catch is that the *same chassis* carries very different prices depending on which channel you buy it through.
We checked three channels on July 31, 2026 and put them side by side.

All nine were in stock with add-to-cart at the time of checking, and all nine were discounted off list — median discount 10.8%, with Bunker Pro 2.0 the deepest at 31.4%. Treat list prices on this brand as a starting point, not the number you pay.
The same robots in Europe
Generation Robots, a French dealer, lists AgileX openly in euros including 20% VAT. Stripping VAT and converting at the EUR/USD rate of 1.1525 quoted for July 30, 2026 gives a like-for-like comparison:

Our reading: the European channel runs roughly 11–38% above US list, and 12–65% above the discounted US street price — with RANGER MINI 3.0 the single exception, actually 9% *below* US list. The gap is not VAT; VAT is already removed above. It is import, support and dealer structure, plus whatever the local market will bear.
Anyone doing this comparison should know the trap: compare EU list against *US list*, not against a US flash discount, or you will overstate the gap by roughly 20 points.
The third channel: integrators quote a different robot entirely
RobotLAB, a US education/research integrator, lists the same model names on a quote basis: LIMO from $3,200, Scout Mini from $4,500, RANGER MINI from $13,500, TRACER from $7,590, SCOUT 2.0 from $14,190, HUNTER 2.0 from $70,000, and an "AgileX Autokit" from $80,000.
Two of those lines match the e-commerce price almost exactly (Scout Mini $4,500; LIMO ~$3,200–3,299). Two do not: SCOUT 2.0 is 42% higher, and HUNTER 2.0 is quoted at roughly six times the $11,520 e-commerce price.
We are not calling that a markup. The most likely explanation is that the integrator quote is a *different product* — a bare drive-by-wire chassis versus a chassis with the lidar, compute, sensors and autonomy stack that make it a working research vehicle. That is exactly the point buyers miss: "AgileX HUNTER 2.0" can mean a $11,520 chassis or a $70,000 autonomous platform, and the model name alone does not tell you which.
What this means when you buy
- Decide first whether you are buying a chassis or a system. The published prices above are, with few exceptions, drive-by-wire chassis. Sensors, compute, and integration are separate and can exceed the chassis cost several times over.
- Budget the delta, not the platform. A $4,500 Scout Mini with a lidar, an onboard computer and a manipulator is a five-figure project.
- Buy list-to-list when comparing regions. The apparent EU premium halves when you do.
- Ask which generation. TRACER 2.0, RANGER MINI 3.0, Bunker Mini 2.0 — version numbers move on this line, and dealer pages do not always keep up.
