North is the first full-size humanoid from Singapore's Sharpa, a 173cm, 60kg robot with the company's own 22-DoF SharpaWave dexterous hands and sub-millimetre tactile sensing. Fast enough to react within about 0.02 seconds, it has been demonstrated as a table-tennis practice partner. Running the CraftNet model with a 6-hour battery, it moves at 5km/h for skilled manipulation tasks.
