HUBO2 is South Korea's first full-size humanoid and the winner of the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge, developed at KAIST and offered by Rainbow Robotics. Standing 120cm and weighing 43kg with 38 degrees of freedom, it uses harmonic-geared motors for straight-legged walking. It remains a landmark research platform in humanoid history.
